Dr. Pavlo Zagorodnyuk
Founder, Chairman of the Board and CEO of NADRA GROUP
In 1973, he graduated from the Geology Faculty of Kyiv State University (presently Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine), with a degree in Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration.
Starting in 1973, he worked for Kyiv State
University as the leader of the South Ural expedition, conducting research and development for the ‘Bashneft’ Production Association in Bashkiria, which was under the Ministry of Oil Industry of the USSR. He also worked as a lecturer for the Geology Faculty at this university.
In 1986, he successfully defended his thesis.
In 1991, Pavlo Zagorodnyuk founded and became the head of NADRA GROUP, a company focused on implementing high technologies in the oil and gas exploration industry in Ukraine. NADRA FROUP provided an integrated range of oil and gas field prospecting, exploration, and development services to Ukrainian and foreign field operators. The Group discovered 83 new oil and gas fields and deposits in Ukraine alone.
In 1995, he was appointed as Vice President of the Ukrainian State Oil and Gas International Business Corporation ‘Ukrzarubizhnaftogaz’.
In 1997, Pavlo returned to NADRA GROUP as Chairman of the Board.
In 2003, he served as Chief Advisor to the Chairman of the Managing Board at Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC. As a leader of a working group, Pavlo was responsible for foreign projects, including the implementation of oil and gas exploration and extraction projects in North Africa, the Middle East, Central and East Asia, as well as former USSR countries. He was also responsible for application of new technologies, and attracting investment in the oil and gas industry of Ukraine. Under his leadership, 22 projects were completed in 12 countries.
One of the results of the work was oil production by Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC in Egypt.
Starting in 2005, he has been the Chairman of the Board at NADRA GROUP. In addition to the oil and gas sector, NADRA GROUP expanded its activities providing integrated solutions for geological exploration and the production of energy, minerals, and water resources.
Since 2015, in response to the signing of the Paris climate agreement and the need to preserve the environment, NADRA GROUP has shifted its focus to projects aimed at increasing oil and gas production in mature and depleted deposits (brownfield). NADRA GROUP has ceased its greenfield exploration activities to comply with the new climate agenda.
Since 2015, NADRA GROUP has expanded its activities and managed projects and programs of a wide network of partner enterprises regarding the effective and balanced use of the entire set of natural resources
In 2019, Pavlo was appointed as an independent director and member of Ukrnafta PJSC Supervisory Board. He was also appointed as the head of the Sustainable Development Committee within the Board, which developed the Optimization Program of Ukrnafta aimed at increasing oil and gas production in mature and depleted fields.
In 2020 Pavlo initiated a new project focused on managing digital platforms for the preservation, rational use, and restoration of the planet's natural capital, and overcoming the ecological and social challenges of the 21st century.
In addition to commercial activities, in February 2000, Pavlo proposed the establishment of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists (UAG) and became its head after its registration. He also serves as the Chief Editor of the Geologist of Ukraine Journal, the official publication of the Ukrainian Association of Geologists. Under his leadership, the UAG organized six congresses of geologists, developed and approved a reform strategy for the geological industry of Ukraine, in response to the new market-oriented economy. Measures aimed at preserving the personnel and intellectual potential of Ukrainian geology, as well as expanding international cooperation, have been implemented. The Ukrainian Association of Geologists has become an associate member of influential international geological non-governmental organizations such as the European Federation of Geologists (EFG), the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geologists and Engineers (EAGE), the Union of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and many other world professional organizations. UAG has developed cooperation with non-governmental organizations in several European and Asian countries through bilateral agreements. As part of the international platform "The Implementation of the Ukraine-European Union Association Agreement Standards on the Effective and Balanced Use of Natural Resources", the Ukrainian Association of Geologists, a full member of the EFG, participates in the implementation of a number of projects under the European Union Framework Program for Research and Innovation, including "Horizon 2020" and "Europe 2027".
Pavlo Zagorodnyuk has received numerous Ukrainian and international awards.
He has authored 74 geological reports and over 80 scientific papers.

Kseniya started this company with her friend, both fascinated with science they decided to bring cutting-edge technologies into an easier to understand and visualise medium of costume art. The aim was to bring attention, educate audience and advertise amazing discoveries made by scientists. Projects were funded by the British Government, as well as technological companies. Their designs were featured on BBC, CNN and Sky and showcased in The Science Museum (London), Science Gallery (Dublin) as well as numerous other smaller-scale venues.
2007-2009 - Co-Director/Co-Founder of Couture Nights
Events company specialising in fashion events and shows at the trendiest London clubs, including Arts Club Dover Street, Sketch, Movida and many others. Typical events were run by a team of 30+ team members, with 200-700 visitors per each event.
2010- Present - Head Designer/Founder/Owner of KZENIYA Ltd.
The only designer, director, founder, and owner of designer accessories brand – Kzeniya. The brand is stocked in 17 countries, 50 stores. Designs featured in the leading fashion publications from Vogue, Marie Claire, Tatler, InStyle, Stylist, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, as well as making the cover of Grazia, cover of Elle and cover of The Wall Street Journal in the category ‘Best Accessory Designer’. All the bags are made in Italy. Kseniya is fully in charge of all from idea, designing, overseeing production, selecting, and managing suppliers, communications with PR and other media, finances, funding as well as recruiting and managing teams.
