Nadra Exploration Equipment, JSC
Joint-Stock Company “NADRA Exploration Equipment” is one the leading vendors of mobile dwellings of frame and container types (on the basis of20” and40” feet containers) in Ukraine. Depending on the purpose, mobile dwellings are split into the following types: worker’s locker rooms, foreman’s offices, booths for security personnel, general offices, living accommodations, mobile summer-houses, kitchens, dining rooms, sanitary and washing rooms, carriage house on chassis, ambulances, warehouses, stores, kiosks and others.
Mobile dwellings are equipped with utility systems (light, water supply, heating, air conditioning) and furniture produced by the company.
Upon customer`s request, mobile dwellings can be installed on chassis (with registration of the vehicle with State Automobile Inspectorate). Design of mobile dwellings allows to mount them in a two storey structure or to connect several items to increase useful area of premises. At the same time, after dismantled they can be transported to other locations. Dimensions of mobile dwellings, internal outlay and equipment of premises are subject of agreement with each customer individually.
Technology of production allows fulfilling orders of any complexity quickly and qualitatively. Totally new design of mobile dwellings has been developed. Design department has done its best to improve living and social conditions of the accommodation of workers in oil and construction industries, geologists and geophysicists in field conditions, as well as of vacationers at holiday resorts. Nowadays, the company manufactures over 100 variations of mobile dwellings.
Delivery and installation of mobile dwellings is performed in all regions of Ukraine.
Core activities of NADRA Exploration Equipment also include production of: modular buildings, sandwich panels, profiled floorings #12 and #21, metal-plastic windows and doors, as well as equipment, drilling tools and spare parts for oil and gas production companies.
NADRA Exploration Equipment has been awarded a diploma as the best domestic vendor of high quality equipment for oil and gas industry at 3rd Specialized international exhibition “Inter Oil and Gas2003” on 21 March 2003. It has also been awarded at the National Sorochinskiy Fair for the best exhibit in the nomination of Mobile Living Quarters.
The company was awarded a diploma at the exhibition “12th Kiev International Automobile Show SIA’ 2004 for active participation in the exhibition in the nomination “Mobile home, value for money” in the year 2004.
In the year 2005, NADRA Exploration Equipment received a diploma as a winner of the regional competition of Products Quality (100 best products of the Sumy region) in the nomination of “Industrial products for the population”.
History of Joint-Stock Company “NADRA Exploration Equipment”
Starting from 1938, the territory of the future JSC “NADRA Exploration Equipment” hosted workshops that provided services for oil exploration and oil resources discovery in the vicinity of the village of Gerasymivka.
In 1943, the workshops were subordinated to the newly created trust “Ukrainian Oil Production and Exploration” located in the town ofRomny. At that time, the workshops produced:
- Braces and wind guys for drilling rigs;
- Connecting flanges;
- Threading of drill rods;
- Overhaul of diesel engines A-19, A-22.
Years 1948-1950. Fast construction of assets of mechanical workshop was underway. By that time, fitter’s workshop and welding workshop were built, as well as an oxygen station, boiler house, compressor station and a club. The following items were produced:
- Drilling derricks of20 meters;
- Compensators;
- Tanks of 10 m3and 20 m3.
Maintenance of drilling equipment was performed. Mechanical workshops provided maintenance of drilling rigs in Izum, Shebelinka, Chernigiv, Chervonyi Oskol, as well as those from Moldova and Belarus.
The number of personnel increased to two hundred and fifty persons. Mechanization of labor-intensive processes was introduced.
In 1953, after the trust moved to the city of Poltava, an d a construction of mechanical workshops was suspended. Only in 1978, after separation and subordination directly to the Ministry for Geology of Ukraine, such construction was renewed. At that time, the company was renamed into the State Research Company of Oil and Gas Exploration Technology (SRCOGET). The workshop for production of mobile dwellings was built (Geologist), as well as social infrastructure. Partial replacement of equipment was done.
In 1997, the company was renamed into the Open Joint-Stock Company “Research enterprise of non-standard equipment” (OJSC “RENSE”).
Starting from 1997, the scope of production kept growing, as well as the range of products, while the main area of production remained unchanged.
In2001, inaccordance with the decision of shareholders, the company acquires the name of the Open Joint-Stock Company “Nadra Geotehnika” (OJSC “Nadra Geotehnika”). In the year 2002 it was renamed into the Open Joint-Stock Company “Geotehnika” (OJSC “Geotehnika”).
According to the decision of the General meeting of shareholders of the company on 20 April 2011 and for compliance with the Law of Ukraine “On joint-stock companies”, the name of the company has been changed into: Joint-Stock Company “NADRA Exploration Equipment”.
Nowadays, NADRA Exploration Equipment is specializing in manufacturing of mobile dwellings of various sizes and modifications, as well as of equipment and drilling tools and spare parts for oil and gas industry.
The Department for Marketing and Design Department base their work on a detailed survey of drilling sites. They surveyed over 20 drilling sites to find out about living conditions of personnel of drilling rigs in various regions ofUkraine.
Production
ORGANIZATION OF PRODUCTION
The overall area occupied by JSC “NADRA Exploration Equipment” is 86,016 m2. The company has the following structure of production:
Workshop #1 is involved in manufacturing of mobile dwellings. The total area is 1,800 m2.
Workshop #1 consists of the following units:
- Production preparation unit,
- Fitting and welding units,
- Personnel rooms and auxiliary rooms. The area is - 568,4 m2.
The Workshop #1 also includes a wood-processing area having production space, and area for storage and drying of timber, auxiliary and personnel rooms.
The wood processing area includes a unit for production of furniture equipped with special technology.
Workshop #2 is mechanical. It is involved in manufacturing of spare parts and instruments for drilling and oil and gas industry. It carries out various types of works for turning processing of materials. The total area is 954,2 m2, including production area, personnel rooms and a tool depot.
For its manufacturing activity it processes the necessary fleet of technology and equipment for cold processing of metals and load lifting mechanisms.
Workshop #3. Fitter’s and repair shop involved in manufacturing of all kinds of non-standard equipment. The total area is 1383,8 m2 including manufacturing and personnel premises.
